Google announced a highly anticipated launch of its new job search aggregation technology, following last month’s announcement of its Google for Jobs program at the company’s annual I/O conference.
Google users will be allowed to search for jobs either on mobile devices or personal computers. The search technology helps users to filter job searches by various criteria – commuting distance or specific methods of transportation. It can filter by seniority, benefits, employment type or other information.
Google is working with a number of different organizations like LinkedIn, Monster, WayUp, DirectEmployers, CareerBuilder, Glassdoor and Facebook in order to bring users the most comprehensive job listings possible, said Nick Zakrasek, a product manager at Google.
